Sunny Side Up in a Pepper Bacon Avocado Sandwich on a Homemade Flatbread with Spicy Mayo
I’m pretty sure the first thing I ever cooked was a Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich. I learned from my dad who basically had perfected the sandwich down to a science by the time I was 13. Im pretty sure that was the only thing he really ever cooked? Must of been all of those morning trips to McDonalds as a kid, ordering that Egg McMuffin which came with the perfectly circular fried egg. After making the sandwich for my friends every single time they slept over in 6th grade, I thought it was necessary to upgrade to the ring mold which I bought to replicate that perfect McDonalds fried egg. Last night, my friend Marc told me he had seen this technique on a food blog. Lets just say I was rather anxious to test it out… I enjoyed the metal ring mold, but an edible mold will always take the cake!
